About

I’m a PhD candidate in sociology at the Freie Universität in Berlin. My research focuses on housing, displacement, and tenant organizing in California. I also work as a freelance writer and translator. My writing has appeared in Jacobin, New Politics, and the peer-reviewed journals Focaal, Radical Housing Journal, and International Journal of Housing Policy. I’m a member of the editorial board of the Urban Political Podcast Collective. My translation clients include the reproductive health app Clue, the architecture magazine ARCH+, the German Architecture Museum (DAM), and My African Food Map.
